Attention all Pennsylvania High School Students!!
- Write your own environmentally-related words to your favorite song.
- Videotape your group performing your new song.
- Upload your video to YouTube, then send us the link to your video.
Your group could be the next "CHANCE Idol" Group!
Three winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) will be selected from high schools throughout Pennsylvania and their videos will be showcased on the CHANCE web site. The top winner (group) will receive a $2,000 prize that must be used in their school to implement an environmentally focused project that allows their school to become more sustainable. Drs. McLaughlin and Alley will travel to the winning school to present their award and Dr. Alley will give a formal presentation on his international work on global warming and, yes, even perform his YouTube hit song! A video of this event will also be made and displayed on the CHANCE web site. This Contest will start September 30, 2009 and the deadline for all entries will be March 31, 2010.
